Date: August 31
Venue: Festival Arena Ba`8 Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina, Pierpoint Rd, Cairns, QLD
Poet: Hazel Menehira
Cost: $25
Details: Sometimes quite unexpectedly, a bit like falling in love, a poem will invite a writer into its aura. Invite accepted, imagery from the inner eye takes over and the celebration of playing with words begins. In this session aspiring and established poets will share the many aspects of celebration, and the process of capturing leaping words to create effective free and formed poetry.
